Liz Countryman’s poems and criticism have been published in Forklift, Ohio, Pebble Lake Review, Tikkun, and Gulf Coast. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D at the University of Houston.

Brian Evenson lives and works in Providence, RI, where he directs Brown University’s Creative Writing program. He's the author of seven works of fiction, most recently The Open Curtain. A new collection of stories, Fugue State, will be published by Coffee House Press in 2008.

Michael Garriga is a Ph.D candidate in Florida State University’s Creative Writing Program, where he serves as co-editor of The Southeast Review. His most recent publication was with PoetrySoutheast. The stories published here are part of a book-length manuscript of flash fiction that focuses on the history of dueling.

Frank Giampietro’s first book of poems Begin Anywhere will be published in the fall of 2008 by Alice James Books. He is the founding editor and designer of the online poetry experimental journal, lafovea. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in reviews including Barrow Street, CutBank, Georgetown Review, Poetry International, and 32 Poems.

Ryan Habermeyer was born and raised outside of Los Angeles, California and received his MFA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He teaches composition and literature at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas where he lives with his wife and daughter. His fiction has previously appeared in Red Cedar Review, Bombay Gin, The Tusculum Review, Bryant Literary Review, and is forthcoming from The Cincinnati Review and The North Atlantic Review.
